GitPlane support
Installation, local discovery, purchases or privacy—get in touch and tell us what you need.
Contact us
Email info@gitplane.co.uk. Include your GitPlane version, macOS version and a short description of the issue. For a direct purchase, include the Stripe receipt or order reference.
Please remove source code, credentials, private repository names and private download links from screenshots or diagnostics unless they are necessary to explain the issue. We do not need GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket passwords.
Install and scan
The initial direct build requires an Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later and Git 2.31 or later. The desktop app bundles Node.js and SQLite. Choose a scan location, then start a scan; GitPlane does not automatically scan your whole computer.
If a folder is inaccessible, check macOS permissions or choose another location. We do not recommend disabling macOS security protections. GitPlane only inspects repositories and does not pull, push, fetch, merge or delete them.
Downloads and purchases
Direct purchasing is not enabled yet. When it opens, a private installer link will be sent after payment confirmation. Keep the purchase email; if it is lost or delivery fails, contact us using the original checkout email and your order reference. Never post the private link publicly.
For a future Mac App Store purchase, Apple handles installation and billing. Use Apple’s purchase-support process for Store payment queries, and email us for product support. A Store listing being prepared is not an approved release.
Privacy and your local index
Repository paths, remotes and Git status remain in your local SQLite index. Closing or reopening the app preserves the index. Removing a scan location does not necessarily erase retained repository metadata. Contact us for instructions if you want to reset the index; no source repositories need to be deleted.
